Lisa Bender has a Master’s Degree in geochemical oceanography and over 20 years of experience working as an environmental consultant to help build sustainability programs in towns along the coast from Atlantic City to Cape May.

- Dispelling the myths and misinformation about offshore wind to fully capitalize on this once-in-a-generation economic opportunity
- Boosting New Jersey’s clean energy sector to pioneer a path to 100% clean power by 2035
- Making our region a national leader in offshore wind to support both economic progress and sustainability
Supporting the Economy and Small Businesses
- Incentivizing job creation, supporting capital investment, and maximizing the benefits of Urban Enterprise Zones
- Tapping into tourism opportunities and making Atlantic County a destination of opportunity, progress, and promise
- Preparing our workforce for jobs in the renewable energy sector
Affordability
- Working to ensure Atlantic County gets its fair share and that our dollars stay in our communities to fund roads and services
- Providing property tax relief for working families and supporting policies like the StayNJ, Senior Freeze, and ANCHOR programs
- Creating a healthy environment for economic development
